The trend in the industry is to move the gold into the '90s. And Cox, to a large extent, got its way.
I honestly don't understand that trend. Considering Ipods are huge...I would think making radio "specialties" would work for the BETTER of the station than following trends that do not. But I guess that's just me
I would listen more to a 80s weekend than a 90s weekend...90s music is weekday music and honestly who needs commercials when you can listen to the same boring worn out hits over and over on your ipod. Now digging up specialty songs on a weekend that would be "deep" and "lost" cuts featured in a special decade format....now that would be worth listening to
