It's sickening to see a group of people attacked by this administration, who identify a little differently from most people in terms of being male or female, and who just want the right to be able to co-exist with everyone and have the same rights as the rest of society, and live a happy life. The hate this administration has towards transgender, and the removal of their rights is too eerily like 'what happened in Hitler's Germany'.This is an interesting observation. Very often, there is not consensus on all subjects. For talk radio, it meant that many subjects discussed were not on the agenda of potential liberal listeners.
2010 was kind of foreshadowing what would come with the Tea Party. But I don't think a lot of people payed close attention and was calmer than today, so yes, I'm nostalgic for it too. Usually the first year or so of the decade feel similar to the preceding decade, so that one very much still felt like the '00s.
