Not to rush Christmas or anything -
but it won't be long before you start hearing
for the millionth time (Burnout status)
Have a Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl Ives
Step Into Christmas - Elton John
So This is Christmas - John Lennon
White Christmas - Bing Crosby - But I love the song.
(In fact, that song goes way back we don't even have a year jingle for it - 1942).
Thankfully, we only hafta listen to 'em, if you must, 3 months
outta the year.
With XM/Sirius radio - I've had it for 5 years - I have completely
abandoned AM/FM radio period. I'll only listen to AM if I wanna catch
a talk show on the local talker or news at the TOH. I have lost track of what stations are what and what stations have changed call letters let alone who the jocks are. When I worked in radio and even before XM I could tell you just about all the jocks and what stations they are on. Now, I couldn't tell you who's who and what station they are on except for Qman.
PD's have warned us that to quote a song - 'That there'll be days like this my PD said....'
Ok Burnout song -----
Burning Love - Elvis Presley
Country Burnout - When a Johnny Cash song is played,
they grab 3 and that's it... Ring of Fire / I Walk The Line / Folsom Prison Blues (1956 version). But mainly Ring of Fire..
Ok, back to Coast to Coast AM with George.
