Another format change in Pensacola?

I still think the owners of 95.7 (mom and pop) should make that into a classic rocker.
It's owned by a church I think out of Navarre. They own 610 and 550 (I think)

Pensacola a party town? I think more like Panama. Why PFM reigns supreme.

It be interesting to see what happens here.

You are all forgetting about WZNS, their signal can reach p'cola, too.

Now CC needs to fix Lite Mix. The djs that they had back on My 107-3 were really good, I hope that they land over at Lite Mix because they need more djs and variety.

Bloated Tibbs?

Yeah...I guess ya can call it that. Just not bitchy! Usually. Excessive use of Hendricks gin.
Gotta think it tastes so much better in paradise. Filled that GM job yet? This winter has made
me pissed. CC needs a guy who can ruin what they still have standing.

Rob ~ PFM is not supreme anymore.

Why on God's Green Earth would anyone want MORE of John Tesh... another break that seems to go on for an eternity aboutsomething like an "ingrown toenail solution" or something else that is kinda California based topical and inert in listener value and stuck between a pre programed local music format really gets beyond common sense... but yet he thrives.. guess I am the band member who is out of step? How cheap is it to run this dribble?

Yeah, that pretty much covers how I feel about his show, too. Blech.

BTW, gotta love Google — when I received an e-mail notification of replies to this thread, the ad above the mail was for… Ingrown toenails. ;D

I predict 99.9 will have some changes in the future to "sound like" 107.3 was.

Maybe this will set the stage to 100.7 to change formats again. Weird how it all folds out.

may bring ya a bottle myself CCENG. If this all goes well, I am beach bound in two weeks, Rob?
Wanna go on a strobey search? A friggin real vacation?

Responded back CW. Lemme know if you got nothing...the story of my life. RNR ~ I may get a hall pass and hit Spring Break City for the pervs in the wheelchairs event. Think you could get outta the Freeze Zone and come thaw?

Check this one out old radio fans:

Go to Facebook ~ Type in "I remember Panama City Beach when it was fun!!!" and scroll down to
the old Tower of Pizza (or Top Of the Tower) demolition video...

as usual...they put up a parking lot CONDOMB..

Panama city is alive 6 or 7 months out of the year. Come late fall early winter half the population leaves and it's virtually a ghost town. That's why pfm and island's numbers tend to tank around that time. WZNS tends to (rather intelligently) ignore P'cola concentrating on Destin, FWB. I've been listening to Groove quite a bit. I like what I hear so far. The jingle's sound alot like it's sister station in NY WKTU. Hopefully when they get through their launch faze they open up their playlist a bit. Oh and Rob I don't think a church is going to want classic rock on their stick just saying.

Hmmmm, I didn't know all those tourist had diaries ;D ....uh....wait......they don't have diaries....we've been swindled ;D.....why do you say their "numbers" go down?

lol U guys don't miss a thing do you. Ok I may have over stated my case a little trying to prove my point. Hey I was trying to throw the GM of wpfm a bone okay. What the hell is going on over there any way's? 8)

Can we get back on topic here....?

Can we speculate Elvis Duran coming to the P-cola area???

It's will be nice if Penascola have a Elivis Duran in the Morining that show is so damn funny Tallahassee's clear channel radio My 107.1 has Elivis Duran in the Morining If Penascola get Elivis Duran oh u guys are going to enjoy it in the morining. :)

What's up with disco stu and the other jocks that were on MY? I have a feeling I think 94.1 will drop deliaha for tom kent as she's on 99.9 and sunny 98.5

RIP my 107.. you will be missed. The Groove will not last long, maybe till end of summer as its competing with 100.7, 97.5 and z96.5

I haven't spent any time listening to the new Groove 107.3 but every time I've tuned in they've been playing 1990's pop songs... i.e.: Tiffany and Michael Jackson... but they do have that upbeat "urban" sounding DJ. I just don't get it. Are they competing with WABB or Jack 104.1? The music appears to be programmed in the iPod shuffle "Jack FM" style... I though people were leaving radio for iPods, so why are they copying the iPod style/theme with these new radio stations (Jack, i100, Groove 107.3)?

107.3 put ESPN on their HD-2, but that doesn't do many people any good. We are seriously lacking sports (AM or FM), FM news/talk, and Rock n Roll stations around here and I expected the recent flips would fill those holes... yet they went in the opposite direction.

This sent me a strong message that I do not understand modern pop culture. I just can't believe people enjoy listening to these radio stations.
