So does 102.9 drop Bob and Tom early? Or do they hold on to them as long as they can, and milk it dry?

Classic Country on 106.7 and a nifty new power increase, ESPN Sports on WSM 650, forces the hands of Citadel out of Country?

This is the SAME "Free Beer and Hot Wings" that use to air on 104.5 The Bone in Knoxville before they changed formats from "Classic Rock that really ROCKS" to hip-hop HOT 104.5.jetfli said:GETALIFELOSERS said:I could have swore[n] I heard a promo with two guys called Free Beer and Hot Wings this morning during Bob And Tom???
Uh, yeah, what I meant to have written was:
By the way, that billboard reference to "free beer and hot wings" mentioned earlier in this thread -- that's a reference to one of the prizes in the Buzz Testosterone Room AND it just happens to be the name of morning show syndicated out of Grand Rapids. The show's doing quite well and it skews alot better 18-34 than the aging Bob and Tom, making it much more attractive to a certain local Rock station that's trying to improve it's image among the 18-34 crowd.
(In the future, remind me before I sign onto this board to check with my peeps first after I've been away from civilization for several days...)

wow Tibbs...that's faint praise. ;D
who isn't younger than Coyote? I'm a Coyote fan...and glad to see him do well, but you
comment hit me as funny. And what's with the other posters bashing Bob and Tom?
Just my opinion, but they're one of the few shows to be successful in syndication and
stay successful in their local market (Q95 Indy). And they "prove" my most basic theory
for being successful on the radio: they're perceived as real people having fun.

Bob and Tom have great ratings and it would make sense for Cumulus to want them on their stations. Great call Cumulus.![]()
