A few people on here and on other places have mentioned the fact that G105 would never fire the showgram, and that If they did the station would be in ruins.
While I agree that the showgram won't be fired, and that the station more or less revolves around the show, it's rediculous to assume that the station would fall apart completely. The music absolutely sucks, but the station has a solid sound, strong personality, and top live jocks all day. We're talking about clear channel here; to have live and local jocks 6:00AM-12:00AM, all weekend long and to pull top ratings all day is impressive. Yes, a lot of the showgram's listeners tune out after ten, but the station has high ratings all day and the showgram doesn't simply apeal to classic rock and country fans--not at all.
