Cable systems that cross market lines

Comcast Chase City-South Hill VA (Mecklenburg County - Raleigh-Durham DMA) also serves parts of Lunenburg County (Richmond DMA). All of Raleigh's network affiliates are carried in HD, along with PBS Richmond and UNCTV, while Richmond's Big 3 are SD only. SD also adds a religious independent from Raleigh.

BTW, the FCC's Cable Search says Chase City and the Lunenburg communities are served by a different company (Windjammer Cable), but Zap2it could only pull up Comcast. Google searches were of no use. Did Windjammer shut down its system there?

Looks like an old school 1980s CATV lineup! Also probably holds the record for most different markets on one cable system (six!)

Charter Monteagle just added WTVC-DT2 (FOX) Chattanooga in HD per Zap2it, but it's not reflected on charter.com. This would leave CW as the only Chattanooga station not carried in HD.

NewWave Jerseyville IL (Jersey County - St Louis DMA) serves the town of Manchester in Scott County (Quincy/Hannibal DMA). Only St Louis stations are carried - they don't even have Daystar's supposed St Louis affiliate (actually licensed to Mount Vernon IL in the Paducah-Cape DMA). Oddly, the rest of Scott County doesn't have any cable - not even county seat Winchester!
