Chris Baker out at KTRH and KPRC?????????????????

I've been called many things in my life....... but Michael Berry?? I may have a big ego, but I'm convinced I could provide listeners a more compelling and exciting on air presentation.
I guess it's better than be called Ken Charles!!

I think most of you guys are exactly what Easymoney says, has beens and wannabe's and sometimes the truth hurts. Personally I'm a never was despite thirty years in radio but I did figure out where the money is and it ain't programming.

Whatever.

Obviously, you're here on the boards with us... so which one are you?

A has been? Or a wanna be?

I guess comments like:

"Play nice, children"
and
"Can't we all just get along?"

aren't appropriate. Actually, I am a "Leftie" who has voted "Rightie" more times than I can remember. So, does that make me "MOR"? As with all things, there is good left and good right, and bad left and bad right. I don't care if the glass is half-full or half-empty. I just hope there is always enough in it for everyone to have some.

I'm guessing reading comprehension isn't a strong suit for you? I thought I was pretty clear in my post where you would put me. I was smart enough to figure out if you want to make any money in the radio business you don't do it on the programming side. I'm here out of sheer boredom.

Of course there's enough for everyone. Abundance is the natural state of the universe. The glass isn't half empty or half full. It's completely full - and overflowing, in fact - for those who understand that.

Silly broadcast people.

It's such a shame that all of your self-professed success and money hasn't done a better job of keeping you busy-- and you're on these boards with us here out of boredom.

Us "has been's" and "wanna-be's" should consider ourselves blessed!!!

Seriously. I'm not out to pick a fight with you.

Honey I started spinning records and slamming cart machines before you were born. I remember when radio was a "fun" business, it stopped being fun for me when the bean counters moved in and I moved on to trying to make a living for my family. I'm sorry if success has eluded you. I can't help it things have worked out for me, I feel very blessed. I also have some great memories of radio and am saddened by what it has become. But never forget, it has always been about the money and that will never change. Radio is commerce, without it stations can't exist.
I'm not looking to pick a fight either but I do come here out of boredom as do a great many of us. It isn't like this is a giant resource, it is a gab fest opinion board. Some are qualifed, most don't seem to be from what I read.
