Christmas craziness again in Providence

Well...to be brutally honest...A/C radio targets WOMEN....women want Christmas Music and based on the success of the stations that do this every year...we still do not know when "too early" really is. It drives ratings and revenue for these stations..so YES..there are REASONS for doing this. In a competitive situation, it IS important to be first. Oh..and Jingle Bells before Halloween?
If that station in Atlantic City that flipped to Christmas on October 17th is successful, you can bet there will be earlier switches. I can't wait for Hallloween....Monster Mash followed by Dominick the Donkey.Now THAT's radio!!
