not only that, she said "this is off the record". oops.
Unfortunately for her, she went off the record half way though the remark, which is really amateur hour for someone who's not exactly a newbie at this stuff. Interestingly, she stayed on the record to insult the Brit PM.
Although she's fallen on her sword, you really have to question Obama's judgment in keeping Powers in a major advisory position for so long.
However, listening to Feinburg's weekend show, a caller expressed her concern that Obama was Muslim. Feinburg responded by saying that Obama wasn't a Muslim, he was a Christian. She persisted, saying that we don't know whether Obama declared his faith for Islam as a child, to which Feinburg, to his credit, said "I don't know what you are talking about" and cut her off. And yes, I believe that the caller is from fly-over country. So, the Hussein stuff does resonate with some, however, they are people unlikely to vote for a Democrat under any circumstances.
Good point. She's obviously looking for a reason not to vote for Obama and I guess she's free to make up any reason she wants. What a country!
Personally, I think Obama should start calling himself Barack Hussein Obama all the time. Whatever. People will get over it or they won't. Do people like the names their parents give them?
I once worked for a guy in the late-60s who had named his son, then a teenager, Irving? Although it was a traditional family name, I wondered why anyone would hang a moniker like that on his kid.
Lucky for him his name isn't Barack Jesus Obama.
Can a Puerto Rican run for president? ;D
