Kelly Ryan, I was going to mention that Col. St. James has us all beat. I was going to add that I was on 68 stations across Texas in a syndicated show in 1980 along with Royce Edward Guinn, his brother the Mighty Quinn (KRBE), Jeff McClain (KENR) and Johnny Goyen (KRBE). The Col posted the following on the other reunion thread:

"Yeah, like for example, I've always secretly hated that Chuck Tiller guy, so I'll just sip my scotch and fart in his general direction! HAHAHAHA!!

Seriously, I've been looking forward to this ever since we first started talking about it. I think it's understood that egos and attitudes will be checked at the door. If not, "EGO AND ATTITUDES WILL BE CHECKED AT THE DOOR"! So, if that's a problem for you, please do us all a favor and stay home. Cool?

Oh and for the record:

For a guy who now owns a delivery service, Arch could damn well -mail- himself there. I was with Joe Ladd and a few ex-KIKK'ers in Mexico up until yesterday. Joe said he would work on Arch.

As for ego's, I agree with The Colonel. Keep them within the standard level for jocks and radio folks, or you WILL be escorted out. Feet, ear or a$$, it's your choice. *We did hire security.

I must confess that I've allowed myself to fall completely out of touch with the rest of the market over the past 20 odd years or so, and there are loads of people here who I don't know personally. I'm really looking forward to meeting them for the first time.

There are also loads of really great people I haven't seen in a long damn time and I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

At the risk of sounding a little weepy, all this camaraderie here on RadioInfo is reminding me of all the reasons I got into this damn business and stayed in it for more than 40 years. I love doing this for a living.

There's no people like radio people like no people I know. And I haven't had my first scotch yet.

Due to the state of her failing health, she will not be able to attend. I will pass along your thoughts to her. Though divorced for many years, we still enjoy a good friendship and are in communication. She sends her best to all who know her. For those of you who don't know her, she appeared on Houston radio as LaJuan Kirks and Lacy Fortune on KNUZ, KFRD, Shadow Traffic and KCOH.

Kelly, the Marshall Islands doesn't sound bad. Perhaps the IS one more place I could be heard. The islands do sound good to me.
