Agreed. The idea is to sandwich WLYF between COAST and the new Soft station. If the startegy works out perfectly for Cox WFLC will not only not get hurt...they could rise to #1 25-54.
That being said WLYF is IMO one of the best programmed ACs in the country. Because they are softer, older, and have a local vibe compared to most ACs they will be less vulnerable to such an attack than ACs would be in many other markets. Plus the new station will likely only take away WLYFs 55+ audience while leaving the 25-54 intact.
