Fantastic word game

Future generations of Radio-Info moderators will see this thread and be completely flabbergasted, amazed, astounded, and shocked at it's length, longevity, wit, and willingness of the thread's founder and original members to include even those who have not yet grasped the idea of posting a well-worded, correctly grammaticized thought. :D

(And I have just taken the prize for longest answer within the thread ;D )

Here is where I would normally chastise someone for giving a thoughtless and horrid and Dude-like awful answer but I shall refrain from doing that this time simply because I like Anyacat.

???

Kitty Wells, the "Queen of Country Music", was born Ellen Muriel Deason, in Nashville, Tennessee on August 30, 1919, and it is said that she is the role model all other female country singers emulate.

Emulate stems from the Latin "emulous," meaning "rivaling" or "envious."

(My initial response was to post "Emulate this!" but that seemed too frivolous and a poke in the eye to some of our more erudite posters. Thanks for kind comments; I like everybody--but I like some more than others.)

Awwwwwwwwww thanks ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Envious of Anyacat's favoritism towards WMC, Stuart Greenberg gathered up all the other posters and organized a revolt which was quickly disbanded by the Army of Moderators. :D

Fast is an interesting word: Besides it's more common use in describing the velocity of an article or object, it can also be used when we wish to mention that something is immovable, e.g. " The door was stuck fast".

Fayetteville, NC is best known as the home of Fort Bragg.

(By the way, has anyone else noticed that Anyacat and WMC2006 seem to have a little something going on?)
;)

Fort Bragg is named for Confederate Army General Braxton Bragg.

(Interesting how WMC2006 assumes he is included in the latter rather than included in the former. I think we could do volumes of Freudian research on this thread alone, assuming one has the time and the interest. Humming a song from Oklahoma, and I bet you cannot guess which.)

Prison is a terrible place to raise a family.

[I spelled "family" "faimly" the first time. Would a misspelling on the last word make another sentence impossible? (Not hinting, no one take that as a hint to end it all.) ;D ]

No, a misspelling does not make it impossible as long as the offender is aware that he, or she, has just opened themselves to endless mocking.

Family has a major role in enculturation and socialization.

Socialization amongst this game's members appears to be reaching new heights.

(Going back to the Fort Bragg clue, Fayetteville was/is also commonly termed "Fayette-Nam" because you could always hear the bombs/target practice going on there.)
