Fantastic word game

Procrastinate on that essay and dmargalotti will come by your house to wake you up extra early while he's making his usual early morning contribution.

What I did on my summer vacation?? Am we back in jr high again?? ;D

Junior High is one of those tell tale terms we use when we are in that special age group that does not use such terminology as middle school, but can also be used by those who have never attended prep school.

In prep school, I didn't learn much mostly because I didn't go to prep school but I did go to junior high school and I'd like to go back because it was fun but I can't because my junior high school is now a middle school.

My junior high school is now a middle school, and it felt weird to pick up my son out front at the end of the day when the local top 40 station would play Howard Jones or Robert Palmer.

Howard Jones or Robert Palmer would be a decision I need to make on Which one to play next.

still a few more 80s before bed as I do have to work tomorrow, I will play What is Love and Simply Irresistible.

Auditory magic is what I used to experience when I was still able to receive unscrambled feeds of satellite programming from Muzak.

[size=8pt]Then 2008 reared its ugly head, and I did manage to keep it going for a little while, anyways.......then I pointed my dish a little further west and discovered DMX. At that point I realised that all the magic was gone. I mean, yeah, I do go into Muzak withdrawal occasionally (hearing it on a CD player, recorded at some earlier time [obviously] doesn't have the same pizazz that actually hearing it on the DVB stream does) but I remind myself that there's still a Shari's restaurant down the way from me that I can go to when I need a quick fix. Yeah, I try to manage.

At least with the CD, despite it lacking the pizazz that actually hearing it on the DVB stream has, it is far easier to put 60+ hours of it on a disc and slip it into the car stereo, than it is to track a Ku-band signal in a moving vehicle! It is more convenient, if nothing else. Made driving to and spending almost a month in Anchorage in a semi truck doing practically nothing productive (and the preceding/subsequent waits at the BC Customs) a little more bearable. ;o)

Muzak always reminds of the scene in The Blues Brothers movie where Jake and Elwood are taking the elevator up to the Tax Assessors office while The Girl From Ipanema plays in the background.
