Fantastic word game

A relationship with dirt as a young person is probably going to lead to a life of baths and soap and playing post office in sewers (and THAT'S where the mail comes from now!), however, if one grows up and has a better relationship with sweet cream (or tartar sauce), the more likely outcome is fairey Godmothers, no grease between the toes and happy Moms aroung the world!

(Thanks, W for the positive reviews of my career changing directorship of fun here on the FWG! It was worth every trip to the outhouse!)

After their done playing with them they're going to the library for their homonym tutoring, which is available each afternoon by the interns, who are there to render just such assistance.

It helps to keep the librarian from gnashing her teeth as fingernails scrape the blackboard.

Their = belonging to them
There = over there
They're = they are, which would be the correct contraction for they are finished (or done) playing with them.

I shall now retreat from my soap box, having described three fantastic words with examples for proper usage.

The interns, who are there to render just such assistance, can help me remember to better proofread my contributions before posting them.

Oops, grammatical error on my part :-[

Before posting them I have perpetrated my own share of FWG (TFWG as a miniscule handful prefer) faux pas.

Faux pas are a part of life here at TFWG (TFWG as I prefer and Miss Silkie does not prefer) because we are all baring our souls for the world to see.

To see or not to see would seem to be an easy choice for me, but I can not foresee if there will always be things that I would want to see, although I suppose that I could be like Joyce Kilmer and see a tree, or maybe three, and such a sight would agree with me and bring me glee so I guess I will freely declare that I want to be able to see.

I went on a big spree there. :D

From me you can separate all my different personalities and wind up with enough men to form a football team, although it won't be a good football team because each man would weigh around 15 pounds.

Although the team would probably be a feature story on ESPN. :D

Around 15 pounds is how much one of my cat's (Rainbow) weighs, and she was the biggest cat her mother (Shyann) had in her litter of kittens.

In her litter of kittens, I found kenrayc all snuggled up in the bottom of the litterbox which might explain why he has been MIA in recent weeks.

And speaking of Kenny, dmargalotti will not be available to host Dave 80s Rockfest at Illusions tomorrow night. And with Miss Silkie still across the pond, it looks like it's up to me to guest host the 80s. So if LARR, scanman, joey (if he can make bail and grab a flight to the States) or even Kenny wants to join me as co-guest host for the night, come on by and join me.

And thanks again to everyone for filling in on Miss Silkie's duties this week. You are all still Acting Directors until she returns and/or dmargalotti returns and/or I say so
.

He has been MIA in recent weeks but that's OK because in recent weeks the world situation has not been great for the non missing part of our population.

(W I can definately co-guest host this week, I just have to get my tux out of hock).

Part of our population disappears at times but we often end up with new population.

Joey, please call me WMC. And no need for a tux, its not formal.

Every ten years I have to change the heater in my waterbed, and yes I have had a waterbed since 1977.

Yes, WMC I am back, had some things going on, oh well, 80s rock tomorrow night , I'm hip for that.

I have had a waterbed since 1977 but I had a homemade waterbed until I was 11 that I refilled myself almost every night.

(W, henchforth, I will call you WMC! And as for the tux, thanks, cus I only have enough money for an 11 cent poopcycle, a Frito, and a can of Upper-Ten which is only available at pay toilets in eastern North Carolina and one square mile in Mississippi.

Almost every night, I wonder how this thread would survive without my strong leadership but then I wake up and realize I'm in charge and everyone loves me.

Ok, seems Kenny is up for returning to Dave & Kenny's 80s Rockfest at Illusions. We'll see if he shows. Since Dave is still away, I'll still be there just in case and joey is penciled in for an hour as guest dj. Show starts promptly at 8pm. Joey, that's Eastern Standard Time. ;D

I'm in charge and everyone loves me also applies to me, but on a different plane than WMC; you see, my muscular hubris sometimes scares the dogs and children, but thats ok since I went back home and discovered through a combination of love, hubris, dogs, children, muscularity, gas station ding ding rope bells, and spam, I can truely control the world, if that world is confined to a 5 by ten space just down the street from my apartment.

(WMC, put that pencil away and PEN me in, cus I will be there with bells on. The bells are courtesy of the International Association Of Bell Ringers)

Just down the street from my apartment, I am going to set up a meeting with joeybabe on how to properly contribute to TFWG (TFWG as I prefer and as Miss Silkie doesn't prefer) in writing one complete sentence and not writing two sentences connected by a semicolon because that makes my head explode as everyone knows.

Yes, I know that you will say it's proper grammar but I just don't like it. When it gets to the point that it's really two full and sometimes run-on LARR-type sentences, I feel that's a bit much. Not everyone else agrees with me but I need to say my piece about it.

Meanwhile, we've all received the latest update from Radio Discussions regarding their upcoming system overhaul. Let's start praying and crossing our fingers now that our little thread here survives the transition. I'm assuming we may have issues like we did a few weeks ago when posts kept disappearing and reappearing and we stayed on Page 2740 for 3 weeks. Miss Silkie, check with the Queen, maybe she can help us through the transition when it happens. ;D

That makes my head explode as everyone knows, said the lady dancer at the gentlemen's club, and no one was really sure what she was meaning by that cryptic message, but later on everyone understood when she was seen dancing on a pole and drinking Upper-Ten.
