Fantastic word game

Your shenanigans might include a try on the mechanical bull, but if you have it on ultra high speed chances are that the machine will be laying on the floor, and you will by lying on the floor right next to it.

It was by happenstance that dmargalotti and I posted at the same time, but as I ensured that my post was exactly the way I wanted it dmargalotti got his post in first.

First and foremost, all PowerWorld LLC colleagues and associates will behave in a responsible manner so as not to create an unsafe workplace.

Styx was one of the first concerts I saw back in the days of my youth and I must admit, they put on a pretty good show.

Hey Mr. Game Czar, I'm pretty sure your contract requires you to make at least one contribution daily unless you've received prior authorization from the Board of Directors (BOD as we like to call them) to be absent from the game for more than a few hours. Do I need to address your absence with HR (Human Resources as Miss Silkie likes to call them)?

The management team is well aware of my contributions to TFWG right from the outset on Day 1 and especially on weekends when the rest of the Board seems to disappear.

Especially on certain long holiday weekends. Where were YOU all Thanksgiving weekend, hmmm Mr. International Band Camp Director? Hmmmm? Hmm??

The rest of the Board seems to disappear on the weekends which is too bad because our huge 11th anniversary bash is 2 days from now on Sunday December 3rd so we hope all current and former contributors drop by soon.

But, please, don't drop by just to say hi without also playing the game by leaving a well constructed contribution using one sentence and one sentence only.

And join us Saturday night at Illusions for our anniversary party.

We hope all current and former contributors drop by soon to play the game and to share a memory or two.

And, pretty please, begin your contribution with the bolded ending clue from the previous contribution (in this case, "share a memory or two") and please bold your new ending clue. Preferably, please italicize your memories/dialogue. We thank you. :D

Share a memory or two while you take your turn making three posts in a row to keep the game moving.

To keep the game moving, you gotta do what you gotta do and that means keeping the ship afloat all by myself while the rest of the group tends to real life stuff.

My memories include all the good times with the lovely late Anyacat; the sometimes groan inducing puns from LARR/Thomps; and, of course, back in the day when we thought Silkie was a guy. We'll never live that one down. Have we ever apologized enough for that, Miss Silkie?

Jim Croce sang all about bad bad Leroy Brown, and we are all kind of wondering if Santa Claus got wind of that information.

For goodness sake, you guys, please go see the forum here on RD entitled 'Questions about the Radio Discussions.com website' where, back on Saturday, I posted a new thread regarding our 11th anniversary (which was on Sunday) and in which I thanked many people and encouraged participation from the masses.

Geez, you guys, it was our 11th anniversary yesterday and you guys just blew it off. Well that's just fine. I was very happy to celebrate with the company of the lovely young library interns who were more than happy to have their cake and eat it too. At least Kenny was nice enough to play Happy Birthday in TFWG's honor during the 80s Rockfest. Although I think Kenny thought it was HIS birthday.

The turtle wins the race is probably just the moral of that particular story about the tortoise and hare, especially when you figure that given our pace we will all be 900 years old by the time we even reach Page 3600.

For some reason I had December 6 in my head as our anniversary. Guess I should check the start date from time to time, eh?
