Fantastic word game

All night long could be the name of a song, or an event that you participate in, but if it is the latter, those times become fewer the older that you get.

Sound effects coming from my Game Czar office should be investigated immediately because I am on vacation and out of the office all week long.

scanman, please have yourself and/or a member of your team check my office regularly. Especially since dmargalotti has a lot of extra time on his hands these days with his international travel suspended and you know how he likes to pull pranks and stuff like that.

The Rolling Stones recorded only one song with "Ruby" in its title, "Ruby Tuesday," after Dion and the Belmonts did so with "Ruby Baby" but before, with "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town," Kenny Rogers and the First Edition.

A yard sale (virtual or actual) may be in my parents' future as they are starting to clean out almost 62 years of wedded bliss.

They will actually hit 62 at the end of August. Dad has rented a dumpster for 10 days and that is taking up about half the driveway. I'm spending a few days of my vacation helping with the start of cleanout. We spent a few hours Monday starting on the garage which is just full of stuff he hasn't used (or seen) in decades. We came across stuff that he has no idea what it's from or where it went. Yup. Course, that could also be because he is 87 and quite honestly doesn't remember much anymore. Today, I did the beach thing. My younger brother took half a day off and came over to help him clean out more of the garage. With half the garage to go, the dumpster is half full. We may not get out of the garage this week. If I don't go to Florida in September, we may do this again at that point.

As for the beach today, it was hot and humid (better than snow). Water was absolutely frigid because, you know, this is New England. Parts of the beach were very crowded with pretty much no social distancing whatsoever (although no one seemed concerned). I went to the less crowded portion where i had a small plot all to myself until a group of 3 women, who had large amounts of beach all around me that they COULD have parked themselves in, parked themselves maybe 8 or 10 feet away from me. Thanks for the distance, ladies. My intention was to stay on the beach until maybe 5pm or 6pm but the greenheads (big green biting flies) started attacking about 2:30 from out of nowhere. I put up with it for an hour or so and finally left out of frustration. But I got some color and managed to do some bikini watching in the process and that's really the most important thing, isn't it? :D

62 years of wedded bliss is an incredible run and all of us at PowerWorld, LLC and TFWG (or, The FWG as some others might prefer) join together in wishing your parents a happy anniversary!

May I wish your parents, CT, a Happy 67th Anniversary which is about the best I can do as Game Czar due to pandemic rules and regulations.

I'll instruct the lovely young library interns to send to them a little PowerWorld anniversary package. Once the world is in a better place pandemic-wise, we'll have them in to band camp for a special dinner.

Any time somebody makes a major mistake, the Game Czar may at his discretion issue a verbal warning, written warning, demerits, or a suspension of posting privileges based on the severity and frequency of the offense.

The offense may be overlooked to some degree for a new contributor but veteran contributors (including myself) know full well that all contributions should be one complete sentence.

This rule applies to the actual game-play contribution and not to the (usually italicized) dialogue. One sentence. Not two sentences. Not parts of sentences. One sentence containing subject and verb and whatever else is needed to complete the sentence just like you learned in first grade. Ellipses (...), while not officially banned, are very much discouraged because they make the Game Czar's head explode. Before hitting that submit button, re-read your contribution. Don't write the same way you talk. Think about what you've written. If it seems like 2 sentences, it if looks like two sentences, then it's probably two sentences. Rewrite it if you must to make it one clear well written sentence. PowerWorld LLC and TFWG (as I prefer) thank you for your attention to this matter.

The rule applies, however the ultimate goal of the game is to give ourselves a moment's distraction from work and have some fun, in today's case, in the summertime!

Back when I was just a little guy in kindergarten, I had dreams of being a Game Czar for an internet word game which was weird because, back then, the internet, computers, websites and message boards didn't exist.

I guess I was way ahead of my time. :D

Happy Saturday. I had a nice week off from work in real life. Sadly, it's back to the retail world on Monday. In pretend internet life, join us in a few hours via livestream for the 80s Rockfest live from the new Illusions.
