Re: Final Tote for MDA Telethon>>tampa out of sequence...
I know I already replied to this already, but I just thought of a few things:

According to the affiliate list at mdausa.org, 51 Love Network affils are affiliated with CBS -- the question is: did they show tennis live and bump Jerry, or did they delay tennis to late night (or pre-empt it altogether)?

I think there are some stations that do both a CMN and MDA telethon each year. In Vancouver BC, Global (the former BCTV) doesn't show the MDA telethon, of course, but they do two big telethons each year -- the "Variety Club Show of Hearts" (benefitting the BC Variety Club) and the CMN telethon (for the BC Children's Hospital). Both telethons feature key news talent from Global BC(TV), and are rather high-budget (though the Variety club is budgeted higher, especially since Bob McGrath of "Sesame Street" appears every year).

Apparently not -- no Fox O&Os (other than Fox-owned UPN affil WWOR) carried the telethon this year.
Edited by rugrats1 on 09/07/05 03:33 AM.
