At home, 106.9 is dominated by WMOZ, Moose Lake, MN, a class A station 26 miles away. However, it fades out in the car once you get a few miles away, and in higher parts of east Duluth and along the North Shore of Minnesota WUPM, Ironwood, Michigan (111 miles from home, about 100 miles from the eastern edge of Duluth) comes in with variable strengths depending on your location and the propagation at the moment. For example, it is very weak during times of no propagation in Duluth, but can be very strong in Grand Marais even without any special propagation.
I've also received KROC, Rochester, MN (221 miles) several times at home on that frequency, KEGK, Wahpeton, ND (202 miles) once, and WWVV Bluffton, SC during an E-skip opening.
