I guess she would have to sell them the Avon route.
I heard she voted for Obama, and cooked up some of her dishes for the first lady that were not on her healthy choices for American's plan. People who are in that same party who seems to think that something someone said 20 plus years ago matters.

A lot of folks out there riding with just that one bank robbery anecdote, asking 'What's the big deal'? All while ignoring that it's part of a deposition in a much, much, much more detailed discrimination lawsuit. Read the PDF rnigma posted, and realize what you're defending if a mere quarter of this complaint is accurate:

It's about time someone posted the entire deposition on this site. Too many on here want to neophyte on social issues with "oh but she only used the word once a long time ago...". I had read whole thing last weekend. Anyone whom defends somebody that has been accused of this type of BS is someone whom is OK with being complicit and giving tacit consent to bigotry...plain and simple

Why didn't the health department close the restaurant? If these allegations were true? I am trying to play Nancy Grace here after reading the petition filed with the courts. Are the attorneys fabricating this? I was not there, but I don't rush too hastily to judgement. We had in our state the FBI investigate a lawyer by the name of Marc G. Rosenthal on RICO statues.
Any surveillance tapes pulled by the prosecution?, I would like to see those tapes as a famous TV Judge would say.
I also don't get the remarks aimed at Obama whereas Deen campaigned for Obama, something doesn't make since.

The picture at the above link kind of synopsizes the issue quite well, I think.

Uh, the documents show what Paula Deen said herself in the deposition, so unless she lied (and that would be perjury and can result criminal charges) it has to upheld as her testimony. Secondly, what does the health department have to do with this? No where in that shows there were actual health code violations, so the health department being association is non-germane. Your comments about surveillance is pointless considering those wouldn't prove a thing in the court of law in this case. Finally, Deen is not her brother so what does have anything to do with anything? Just because Deen herself campaigned for anyone doesn't mean her brother cannot have his own (different) perspective of things.
You are not making any kind of sense. Also don't attempt to "play Nancy Grace" because she never makes any type of sense either.

It depends on the local health codes, also if I were Jackson, why would I continue employment with that entity? It is still hearsay, and as far as the disposition she had some bad lawyer ring on her part. Also if I were Jackson I would have immediately contacted the police and made a report after discovering the numerous violations of law. Most businesses today have surveillance systems installed, and pulling the tapes from the business by subpoena makes sense cameras make the silent witness that is impartial and fair a fundamental right we all have under the Constitution which seems to be sadly ignored these days, and as far as Nancy Grace making sense that is your opinion, but Nancy Grace has trial court experience, do you have trial court experience?
Aren't we per summed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law?

Blah, blah, blah! What does this have to do with the deposition under oath? Nothing at all.
Unless you are going to take into account that Deen said herself in during her entire testimony then your points are null and void. Read the deposition and realized that is actual evidence in this lawsuit that will be determinate of the judge's decision not some random non sequiturs you feel should be taken into consideration like surveillance footage or the health department. These are all non sequiturs and red herrings to the case at hand.
In other words, this is the end of this conversation between me and you, period. I am not going to go back and forth with you over what you think should be considered, so you can talk to yourself from this post onward...
