I actually picked up WTHT just South of Downtown Boston one night, that was interesting!

During the early 90's, I could get stations out of Providence too!

92 Pro-FM

And oh, I could get both Fun 107 out of New Bedford and 96-3, The Rose out of Nantucket too!

They supplemented WZOU and Kiss 108 for me.

Yeah, the 102.9 signal is a monster. I think the swap between WTHT and WBLM was about 1989. It then became known at Thunder 107, but the 107.5 signal was very weak.

Ironically it was on the 107.5 frequency that I picked WTHT (Thunder 107) up, go figure. But isn't that signal 100,000 watts? I thought that I read that somewhere and they claimed it after switching to Country. BTW, are they still Country?

Now was Dallas Kincaid the PD there too? I thought that he was. I know that he came back to Boston at WZOU to be the APD instead.

Yes, Dallas was the OM/PD while at WBBO.

WBBO's logo during Dallas's tenture, BTW, was a direct rip-off of WZOU's (the one that was used in the late 80s with the "Boston" on top of "94.5 WZOU" in bold graphics. WBBO's had "Carolina" on top of "WBBO 93.3" bold graphics.
