You mean the same conglomerate that brought you the wholesome Britney Spears, her sister Jamie Lynn, Christina Aguilera, and Justin Timberlake ? ? ? And almost broght you Jessica Simpson (she unsuccessfully auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club).

For greggos hire at ESPN, congradulations. I hope he will produce and provide a consistant show that will attract many listeners. For all his detractors, I say this: Quit complaing about his past behaviors and let the guy have a real second chance, we all deserve that.

I don't have the article with me, but didnt the article mention selling the place in Dallas because in the end he's not really a big city type of guy?? Why would he then take a major market radio gig if he's more suited for small town life??

Shows the hypocrisy at Disney/ESPN/ABC. I, for one am happy they hired Greggo because he deserves a second chance and more importantly he has a following and did get ratings(which helps). I read that ESPN 710 in LA approached Tony Bruno about the afternoon show and after meeting with him 4 different times, told him he had too much "baggage"? Bruno has never been arrested, had any drug or alcohol problems that we know of and he isn't safe enough to help a dying station in LA where he lives?

Ok I signed up just to ask how in the hell is Greggo a great talent? He could not carry a show when he was by himself. Everytime Mike Rhyner was not there for some reason it was like listening to crickets. Than when he is with someone he does not pay attention, and has nothing constructive to add to the conversation. Where do you think all of the robot Greggo sound effects, and all the HUH's came from. He is washed up, and if he was good at one time than he will have to get worst with his addiction find out what a dumb mistake it was. For him to get better, or back to what he once was. Also from what I have heard this is more than just a second chance more like forth.

Greg had better be teamed with a strong lead talent because he cannot carry a show on his own. It would be funny to hear three hours of "ALLLLLRRRIIIGGGHHHTT!" every night but it sure won't pull in numbers.

He does have a core of listeners who are pulling for him and will give him a chance. How big? Probably enough for a 1.0 or thereabouts. Isn't that about average for KESN?

Hey Chachi, dont tell me you havent gone down the road of stupid in your life, yet somebody in someway probably gave you a second chance....Im of the belief if he stays clean and sober, he deserves that shot. If he fails his drug test, he gets booted off, enough said

has there been anything official about this yet? Start date? Doesn't espn run the mavs games so I'm surprised if this was a move they were going to make that it would drag out this long. Mavs preseason begins in about 6 weeks and regular season 8 or 9. Looks like 2-3 days per week of pre-emptions. I think they should have found a way to launch this show in June but...
