Santos had said they hoped to be back on WWZN at the end of the week last week. Fybush's column today says "Jeff Santos is once again looking for a new home for his progressive talk programming, which has now vanished from the schedule at WWZN (1510 Boston)". That sounds a bit more
like it won't come back there, though there is that delayed hour (6-7 am the next morning) on WRCA.
In advance of the debut of NBC Sports Radio it was said Santos would be on till just past the
Nov. election. And I guess he will be, but probably not on 1510.
Check didn't clear, or they won't sell him the time; not sure the reason. As for websites, the Revolution Boston one still prominently mentions 1510, still mentions shows that have been gone for months, and has the headline "Romney Picks Ryan!" That was in what, July? Then again the folks at 1510 have a site that still just says "This Is My Site" with nothing else. It probably takes a few
minutes to do a bare bones site with a logo, list of programs, etc. Maybe even sell some ads and
put them on there.
As for WEEI the program list goes through next Sunday but no mention is made as to the
splitting off of AM 850 on Friday. Maybe just as that happens they will do so, and the main logo will simply say "WEEI 93.7". Yes technically they still have the 850 but it won't be the same
programming.
