I believe that Press Communication's Thunder country does offer an alternative to cookie cutter country radio, as it has been playing some lesser known songs and artists.
Some of the posters have been criticizing sound alike radio stations along the Jersey shore, yet taking Thunder to task for not being "focused" (in other words, playing the same 20 currents over and over).
This leads me to believe that some simply dislike Press Communications, as they have apparently have made a number of poor decisions. But I do feel that they are offering something different and refreshing with Thunder Country. Though it does remain to be seen whether the new Nash FM will be significantly impacting their ratings, Thunder has been doing quite well.
So I for one hope that Press does not sell Thunder, or cut the playlist down as they did with The Breeze.
