I think Boomer(Steve Sutton) who used to work for Power 99 and Star 94, now for Y106.7. I think he used to work for 96 Rock, I do not know what shift it was.

I'll never forget my first night on the air at 96, when he showed up with a beautiful blonde. During my first break, she walked into the booth completely naked. I stammered something lame about radio being a non-visual medium and went to spots.
Come to think of it, there were often naked women around the KLS studios during the late night hours. And a strange, pungent, smokey smell often wafting from the booth when Ayo was working. Sort of like burning oregano?
Bladerunner had an incredibly entertaining show on the 7-mid shift until he got thrown in jail a few times and eventually got canned for playing an obscene song about Tipper Gore by (Warrent, I think? Who? I don't remember.) That was also mid-nineties. Anyone remember his bit "Marta-bating?" Alan Ayo took that shift. Ayo also hosted the Electric Ballroom with Alex Cooley on Sunday mornings, and the Peach Jam.
Jools never really clicked personally with the rest of the Wake Up Crew. Chris and Rad both didn't like her much, if I recall, and she was somewhat of a primadonna. Trivia: ZZ Top's "Legs" was supposedly written about her. She used to date Billy Gibbons. Apparently, she had a dime, all of the time.
Part-timers during the early and mid-nineties included Mike Alston, Matt Walsh, Steve Maple, Andy Mendello, Greg Kaiser, Delia Rae Porter, Brian Greathouse and more I'm forgetting about.

Steve Sutton did work at 96 Rock. But he was a different Steve Sutton, not the one who's Boomer.
