2 spins this week, 4 spins last week - I don't think they're into Nine Inch Nails much - I've never heard them play Closer, and I've only heard Hurt one or two times (I think) - I don't think they play Alice In Chains at all, and no Soundgarden except for Black Hole Sun
I'm sure that Rock 100.5 covers those bands, though, so I completely agree with them leaving them out

I like Nine Inch Nails, but I'd be thankful for the lack of grunge.
acheron82 said:See, that's where we disagree though. You gave the example of The Fray followed by NIN. True, there is a problem with that picture and the problem with that picture is The Fray. I have never heard an alternative station play The Fray today.
acheron82 said:I wonder if The Fray is some of their remaining "familiar" artist they started off with to get folk hooked. Hopefully they will kill it soon. Radio 105.7's ratings continue to climb and are possibly one of the top rated alternative stations in the nation which is amazing.

I'm not in love with the station but if it keeps this up, I think we've found a formula to make alternative work in an big city markets, which all told is something which I'm supportive of.
