Imus is gone--for now. He hasn't completely screwed the broadcast pooch and I think he'll be back, though I don't think he'll be as mighty as he once was.
And let's face it, he hasn't been what he once was for a long, long time.
If I were Imus with all things considered, namely his age, I'd probaly elect to use this time to bid radio a fond farewell. He's probably got more money than he knows what to do with and if he ever needed more of it, I'm sure there's a book in him somewhere.
As for Walton and Johnson? All racist comments aside, I don't think they shouldn't be working anywhere but they're not funny. I think they're incredibly UNfunny. Case closed. And I read on this string someone brought up Dean and Rog. Man, I hadn't thought about them in years. I didn't even know they were still in Houston. I rarely listened because I didn't think they were funny either. But even at their worst, they were still funnier better than w&j.
