If you could bring back one radio show, who would it be?

I don't really care what your answer is, I just want to see how long it takes for Nik and Joe to start pecking at each other in this topic too.

LMAF!

Now that is funny ;D Mine is bigger than yours!

Let me help get it going... Mark Parenteau and Harey Warfield for afternoons.!!! :D

That's not fair Lucy dont confuse his agenda with me, seriously!.

But to answer the question:

I would (with all due respect to Jackson Blue) bring back JoJo "Cookin' " Kincaid to nights at Kiss, amazing, amazing talent. OF course morning guy Tai to WFNX, one of my true inspirations listening to that guy everyday, underrated from day one! Truly a talented man.

Jess Cain or Jerry Williams. A distant 3rd for Charles Adler.

Since I won't get any of those, I'll take VB's Pit.

You know it is a joke right? Just causing trouble.. Sorry me bad. :-[

The Zou of course!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaake UPPPPP it's the MORNING ZOO...........with the MOST MUSIC in the MORNING.........best sweepers of all time, ok well IMO.

They were no Z94 mind you.......... ::).......and Lucy what's Funny? Tai was fantastic at fnx, a huge inspiration to me and a whole generation of local alt and rock jox. Even Matty's wife used to listen, or so he said on air one day.

;) Oh, that's easy..... "Saturday Night At The Oldies" on the late "Golden Great 98!" (WROR, the FIRST one on 98.5) with Joe Martelle. And right after that, "The Wolfman Jack Show" til sunrise.

73,
Pete

Patrick Murray on WZLX. Not many entertaining "out-there" kinda personalities anymore. Enjoyed his brief stint doing "Last Call" nights on ZLX in the mid-late 90s.

The Ol' Sport

While I whole heartedly agree that Jess Cain [ happy 80th by the way Jess... and don't forget to vote for him in the Radio Hall of Fame], Jerry Williams [ who got 'out of the business' just when we needed him most] along with Bruds [whose battle for life we should never forget ] but I would add the Ol' Sport himself, Norm Nathan who I understand was a 'swell dancer' and very much in love with Maryln Guerelnick and Michelle Pfeiffer...did Norma ever find out. Guess no one ever told "Eye" anything.

Okay, while you're at it, add Mr. Past The Meridian Himself, Gene Burns.

Arnie "Woo Woo" Ginsburg's weeknight "Night Train Show" and his sunday night oldies show, on WMEX 1510, the home of those fun lovin' Wimmex Good Guys!

Dick Summer's "Subway" show on WBZ

Uncle "T" on WBUR (early underground pre-fulltime WBCN circa 1967-68)

Preceding post was for Bostonians over 50. Apologies to all you young'uns!
