Is D. Ankarlo ever coming back?

Who?

Mancow (mid-mornings in Chicago), Don Imus (on the Fox Business Network), and Tom Leykis (show ended in February on KLSX) were considered.

A former Y-95 morning man, now doing a very popular FOX cable show.

jeeeeez!

Leykis? That creepy old hack? What would his new schtick be? He has failed about a half dozen times in PHX, and his radio show is aimed at high testosterone low IQ guys in their 20's, while Tom is in his late 50's. Pathetic host.

Leykis at Bonneville? Love the funny rumors you make up. Keep them coming my man.

Guess our tongues were planted too far in our cheeks (insert clever reply here) regarding the perfect opportunity to move GLEN BECK up to 9am and let Aunt Carlos roll Noon to Three, Noon to Three, Noon to Three. Not only would the Beckster be three hours fresher (his show is live 6-9am MST) but KT'R would have a better shot at the Nearly Bald One/El Rusbo combo on at the same time. Moving Aunt Carlos, or his replacement, to Noon provides a good alternative to more conservative haranguing by Sean Hannity on 5~Fifty. But hey, what do we know? The Nurse and I are just a bunch of lowly media consultants hoping to be become something big one day....like radiant attic barrier installers!

ROFLMAO! (pun intended)

Clever reply? OK...uh, no...I better not go there. Talk about a double entendre!

I'd prefer "news five minutes sooner on WABC New York."

I heard from my old friend and colleague Darrell's wife yesterday...she said he is doing terrific and that a solid date has been set for his return...and no, she did not share that date with me, but i'm guessing it will be quite soon.

I think KTAR is smart to consider Bruce Jacobs, he has a following with listeners and advertisers, they love him. He is known in the advertiser world as a great guy to work with and gets results. Thats a win-win for KTAR, and I think a win for talk listeners.

Bruce Jacobs is great on sports and at times with a 2 man team.. But leave him alone and he starts to sound like a bitter hateful old senile man..
