So it basically became a Clarksville "move-in"? What a waste! When I lived in Clarksville, everyone there listened to Nashville stations anyway! ??? So how many FMs are there in Clarksville now? There's Q-108, which is licensed to Ft. Campbell, and 97.5, which came on the air after I left that area, and may be a Hopkinsville station for all I know. And now 94.3, apparently. What else is there? I don't count WAPX, because it is Austin Peay's station, nor V-102.5 because it is a Nashville/Clarksville operation, despite its reception problems in some areas. I listen to V-102.5 because I can pick them up here in Pegram, and Q108, because I can get them on my car radio.w9wi said:Nope. Saga bought it & moved it to Clarksville. (OK, "Oak Grove, Kentucky"...) It's 94.3 The Eagle with classic hits.firepoint525 said:Doesn't Springfield still have its FM station? I am aware that Tuned In owned it for a while, but I don't know what happened to it after that, and I don't live close enough to them to tune it in.
I am not real familiar with Saga. What else do they own?
And getting this back on topic, kinda sorta, I was listening to 97.1, and they played a listener comment, something to the effect of, "y'all are rockin' a lot harder (or sounding a lot better) than you used to." Why, how dare them dis the tower! ;D
