Perhaps it was a typo and he meant to ask if they were playing more 90s music? If so then yes, they have added some 90s songs in the past few weeks. As for Brown Eyed Girl, I'm pretty sure that's the only 60s song they play.
WOW, 90's music now! I guess when the going gets tough, the tough gets going!
Not a typo.
I have heard Van Morrison, but haven't heard Steve Miller or The Eagles among other 70s songs so was wondering if they tossed tthem.
Haven't heard the 90s yet either.
It sounds like it to me, but I am not a full time listener.
Thoughts ?

As time marches on stations eliminate some very old stuff and play slightly more recent.
The word Oldies conjures up images of sock hops, early Beatles, Beach Boys. Now songs of the past are 80s or 90s or 00s and called classic hits or some other title.
1990 was 30 years ago. Ringo turns 80 next
month.
You could get talking to someone--"oh REM..saw them at Great Woods in 89"
"I wasn't even born yet," they reply. "What's Great
Woods?"
Worked at Bldg 19 in Lynn early 80s.They used to
play WCGY 93.7 "Blue Suede Radio" over P.A..Eventually they shifted to later stuff. As Eagle 93.7 they were hits of the 70s. Then "and now the 80s too!" WODS dumped Oldies nickname for The Greatest Hits and added
80s, with 50s and early 60s dumped earlier on.
Used to listen to WCGY when it was "FM 94", owned by Curt Gowdy....Played TM Rock format out of Dallas.....with a Schafer 903 automation system..
Never could seem to filter that 25 Hz tone off the reel-to-reel tapes.....!!!
It appears that WROR's recent ratings have gone down and WZLX is rising. Does that correlate with the decrease in 70's music and the increase in 80's music in WROR's playlist?
