As for reason #1. There was a recent study which found country was the least popular music among I-Pod users. My guess is this is true with other new technology as well. Considering that most country listeners are sticking with traditional radio, country becomes all the more attractive as a format option.

WRONG WRONG WILLIE! Free FM isn;t coming to DEnver, I have spoken personally to the PD of WILLIE 92.5 as of yesterday as actaully and he tells me that WILLIE is here to stay! The main reason why he flipped the station when he did was becasue of the Stock Show that is coming in January.. He wanted to make sure that has all the airstaff promotional staff installed and ready to go! BEcasue ehe knows that the Stock show holds all the Cowboys in the Nation!
So I well say this again for everyone!
Stop thinking about FREE FM, KDJM is not going to FREE FM PERIOD!
WILLIE 92.5 is here for good its not a hoak, in fact the whole story behind the promo is this:

THe PD at KDJM knew about the rumor which ( btw got started in Orlando at another 92.5 station) the 925FREEFM.com URL was ment for that station NOT the one in DENVER! SO he went with the rumor and he wanted everyone to think there was a FREE FM coming to DENver, while throwing everyone off the track about WILLIE! See he knew what to do,so that everyone would have thought about Free Fm and NOT about Willie!
So Willie66 please stop thinking or saying that FREE FM is coming to Denver becasue it;s NOT!
Plain and simple!

You know, its interesting to read all of these redicuals posts, it really is!
I mean are you people really this naive or what? It;s like your stuck on this FREE FM crud for some reason!
KIMN isn't at all going to switch to any other format! It is doing quite well really! (And again this comes directly from the PD's mouth of KDJM) KIMN has actually good ratings with the WOMEN, and that is what COUNTS in Radio now adays! KIMN is in the 12+ ratings with the WOmen and that is all that matters. So read my previous post becasue it is the truth! Anyone that says other wise is a complete and udly moroan to say the least! So get of over this crud abotu FREE FM! IT"S NOT COMING TO DENVER!!!!! ITS NOT COMING TO DENVER!!! PLAIN AND SIMPLE! All the articles on CBS 4 and in the newspaper is all wrong about WILLIE!
WILLIE is HERE TO STAY! FOREVER! END OF DISGUSTION! ok?
