Unless you are the person she reports to, you have no idea what you're talking about. For all you, or anyone else, knows, her absences could have been cleared with Peter Casey in advance. If you actually do know something about it, we're waiting for your explanation of what you know and how you know it. It's way past time to put up or shut up.
And for those of you who think she owes her audience an explanation: She doesn't work for the audience. They don't pay her. She owes them nothing. The only person to whom she owes ANY notice or explanation at all is her employer. That's how companies actually work.
The comments from the haters here who still listen are getting almost comical. Hint: She's just not worth it. If you don't want her on the air, STOP LISTENING!!!! Did it ever occur to you that PC might infer from this thread (if he even reads it) that "they say they hate her, but they keep listening, so we'll keep her on?" Hosts with an audience tend to keep their jobs. Hosts with no audience don't. What part of this is so difficult for some of you to understand?
This line of thinking absolutely blows me away. So, her absences with Peter Casey might have been cleared? If that is the case, then I guess Mr. Casey forgot to notify the substitute hosts that had to come in and fill in for Jen. For example, last night when Dan Ray had to go an extra hour because Jen did not show up. I guess everyone must have known about it but Dan. And then, when Morgan showed up at 1 a.m. to fill in and let Dan go home, I guess everyone must have known about it except Dan and Morgan. I guess that's why Morgan made his comment alluding to the fact that he had no clue why Jen wasn't there. And did Mr. Casey also clear the absences when Bradley Jay had to pull 7-hour shifts, especially the first one? She is unprofessional, unprepared, ill-equipped and incapable of doing a good job as overnight host on WBZ.

Cliff's Notes: You STILL don't know what you're talking about. You still haven't posted a single, provable *fact.* You only know what you hear on the air and you draw inferences from it...while having only one side of the story, the side you invent in your mind.
No one who has heard her, even just once, will argue with your last sentence, but that's hardly the point. You are reading something into her on-air presence, or lack thereof, in the complete absence of any fact whatsoever.
........If I were him the next time I received another frantic late night phone call, I'd tell 'em to stick it....but he's too classy and professional to do that.......
But it appears the biggest difference between you and him is that Morgan's too smart to blow the best gig he ever had.
When the "silliness-meter" gets to 11, it's a pretty good indication that a thread, which hasn't produced an original thought in 75 posts, has finally augered in.

You really don't give MW very much credit if you think being a fill-in local radio talk show host is "the best gig he ever had" do you?But it appears the biggest difference between you and him is that Morgan's too smart to blow the best gig he ever had.
