So I see Jim Sharpe's name and John Davis and Phil Steiner...and so I had to join in and say hi to everyone and how much I miss you all!!!

I'm now back home in SoCal working as the acting PD/APD/MD/Geeky afternoon DJ on LIVE 1055 in Ventura/Santa Barbara.

I think that not only will I always remember "Turn on the 'frickin' marti", but Phil and I will ALWAYS remember, "OMG! My hand fell off!!!"

Love you guys and miss ya!

I think Jim has been scratching that itch since he left...it just took him 2 months to actually say it out loud ;D I miss you Jim...especially when you call me Karen Lucas.
 
I must say, I miss Jim on the air (or stream) too.

Plus, I'd hate for his thread to slide too far down the front page.

I find it fascinating that the two most posted-upon topics are fine Phoenix radio professionals who have recently left the air.

But I must ask Jim Sharpe supporters to help him catch up to Mr. Gardner in number of posts...

So maybe this topic reached top of the page again because of one post with one main goal: to put the topic
at the top. No big deal. But look at the dates of the first posts, numbers of pages, and especially the amount
of views that both this topic and Bill Gardner's have. I don't know who's troops outnumber who's... but I think
I have an idea... ;D I do also have reinforcements, ya know!

Make no mistake...Jim's troops are LEGION! Unfortunately we're also very LATHARGIC so chances are Bill would win BUT that doesn't mean we would not have had good intentions about supporting Jim. Besides our Jim left HIS job voluntarily. That's all I'm saying about that. :eek:
 
But did Jim ever fly commuter planes out of Las Vegas?

I remember hearing Jim Sharpe on KFYI years ago; I think he's an excellent reporter.
