I did that post about 2 minutes before the Pats' game started. Someone said it was a national game so I guess a lot of people saw our freak snow storm. I do feel better this weekend . The Yankees have lost twice since then, so I have to keep Jim on the front page for luck. The Sharpmeister was promo-ing his Thursday subbing for Network Ned all day Wednesday on 92~Three. Then another wardrobe malfunction as Network Ned was sitting in for Jim Share who was supposed to be sitting in for Network Ned. What in the Wide, Wide World of Sports is a goin' on? Perhaps Mr Burgundy will surface and splain things to the Buckeye Boyz. In the meantime we're saving up our nickels and dimes to buy a couple of $9.23 tickets to the annual KT'R Christmas Carol starring Dumber & Dumbest, Pat McBland and a bunch of other old farts!

YIKES! The Christmas Carol production has run it's course (especially when Dumber & Dumbest take lead roles). Perhaps that's why KT'R is still hawking tickets after saying for the past couple of weeks they're going fast. Maybe the Bidwills will snap up the remaining tickets so we can see it on channel 27!

Monday 21 December around 4:15 Jim actually forgot KTAR's telephone number! He mentioned that in the old studio the number is written in big letters on the console and he's gotten so used to looking there that the number didn't come right to him! What made it funny was Jim always sounds so polished when giving the number plus, as he mentioned, he's worked at KTAR for several years so how could he forget the number?
Jim did slip and gave the temperature "in Uptown Phoenix" rather than Phoenix. I'll miss that and the hourly bell, but that's another rant for another topic.

I had to bring Jim back to page 1 to help me celebrate Scott Brown's great victory. For the first time in a while I'm not ashamed to be from Massachusetts. A couple of local radio stations really promoted Brown, who, 3 months ago was a virtual unknown. WEEI 850 AM (Dennis and Callahan in morning drive)and WTKK 96.9 FM(Jay Severin in afternoon drive) really made the difference.
