This is something that has been tried off and on for the past 20 years--mostly in the South--but nobody's been able to survive on it aside from that one station down around Fredericksburg, Virignia. And this ain't the South.
The big question is whether it's going to cause the Bus listener to stop listening to the Bus, or the Froggy listener to stop listening to the Frog. Or are there enough "tweeners" out there to make it fly?
Marshall Tucker disappeared from the scene around 35 years ago. This is really going for a niche.
But, yeah, it does sound cool--for however long it lasts. Good luck!

This format is sophisticated and cool and easy to listen to. It has an intelligence that a college town deserves, with the populist roots that a rural county desires. It's like the best of Little Rock combined with the best of Austin.
And I love the always-up-tempo thing.
