JT's Ship has Sunk at Fox Sports Radio!

Sean Farnham hosted "Fox Sports Soup" live last weekend. I'm guessing that they might bump him to the late-night overnights (perhaps with a regular show), and Bruce Jacobs could take his current slot. That's what I would hope...

Oh please no, not Bruce Jacobs. He yells to much at his listenners. Anyone but him. What they should do is pit on either Kate Delaney or Hacksaw Hamilton (8pm-11pm Est Time). Or just put Big Ben Maller back on weekend overnight.
In Anycase, please God, not Bruce Jacobs. Please, I'm sorry, that's the only thing I don't like about him, is he yell too much at his listenners. If he would be more better with them [(nice) like John Fricke] then, yes, I'd like him.
 
This is the first good FSR news in a long time. I like both Bruno and JT (and Looney). The overnight clip show was a bad idea. Weekends? I wouldn't mind hearing Maller again. I'm really enjoying him this week, on Bruno's show-- not as silly as the old Third Shift.
 
With all due respect, I read that "best sports talk show" poll link and 1100 people voting on some stupid ncaa type pool where the lemmings of a host log onto an insignificant website that no one knows, doesn't make someone the best.

Nice try JT fans, but you'll need a more credible poll or media column or magazine or something people actually read to determine who is the alleged "best".

Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton will be calling Sunday afternoon NFL games for the Compass Media Network. That, in addition to his satellite radio gigs, should be keeping him busy as it is. Maybe Kate gets a slot, but I see her most as a holiday or vacation fill-in.

Besides, Bruce is apparently FSR's primary fill-in host, so chances are he's next in line anyway for a show. You probably should study up more on iconic sports talk show hosts over the past 40+ years and how they treat their callers, as evidenced by the other thread started here about Bruce. He's nice compared to a lot other hosts. Just sayin'...

For context this site was ranked 51,385. Sure, we all love radio-info but do you really know anyone outside of radio who reads it? So, what does that say about sports media journal?

So while Sportsgm (who has to be JT) will reference some obscure poll to determine he's number one, the truth is he was likely the only competitor who even mentioned the contest on the air.

And only a j***off like JT would actually come here two days after his demotion and spout such Loon-acy.

Yeah, its similar but Bruce has that Michael Savage in him... JT is like Hannity.. Goofy Jingoism.. JT really seems to hate maijuana.. Like it killed his dog or something...

Does rush, hannity, rome, dr. lara, savage, Imus, Stern , cowherd, patrick, fransesca, kevin and bean, anyone who matters ? No. the only radio format that covets overnights is UFO radio. Where you talk to insomniacs, the unemployed, truckers, and lonely , isolated wierdos.
Come on. You don't put elite talent on at 3:24 a.m. Do grocery stores put anchovies in the store window. No. THEY BURY IT, IN AISLE 31.

amen to that...there's a reason why Coast to Coast AM is the biggest overnight syndicated show in america...it's the only thing worth it, even putting a Rush replay would be disrespectful

THAT'S a shocker. Obviously there are a few FSR stations that can't pick up Tony Bruno because a competiting station has it... Tampa, for instance. But are there enough to justify a competiting show with Sean Farnham airing? It doesn't make much sense.

Why not just re-feed PMS or Czaben... or Myers & Hartman? Or is he hosting a new incarnation of "Fox Sports Soup" instead? (It could be b/c the clock shown above is just about identical to the standard FSR clock.) Or is he hosting a local show for Tampa listeners or web-only?

Oh, while I'm thinking about it... who would send out the show clock for Tony Bruno on behalf of The Content Factory? FSR/Premiere or WW1? Obviously it looks like WW1... but would FSR/Premiere direct their affiliates that way?

It's an identical clock, but it just fires different serial commands.

Premiere will probably put the Bruno clock up soon. No way would they just hand over 3 hours a night of their network to Westwood One.
 
They need to bring back Chris Plank on the weekend overnights it was great especially after college football.
