I did a signal test with my Sony FM/AM SRF-M35 Walkman yesterday and today, and I tested it in San Marcos yesterday, and in Seguin right now. I found that with my crummy radio..
In San Marcos-
-I picked up almost all Austin full power FM signals.
-Line-of-Sight signals - 92.1, 89.9, 103.5. (various others because of elevation)
-Strongest Austin signals - 89.5, 93.7, 94.7, 95.5, 96.7, 100.7, and 103.5.
-Weakest Austin signals - 101.5, 102.3, 104.9
-Austin Signals I could not get - 104.3, 107.7, 92.5. No 97.1 - it only works in my car.
-San Antonio stations I could pick up were 99.5, 105.3 and 107.5
In Seguin-
-I picked up only a few San Antonio full power FM signals.
-Line-of-Sight signals - 92.1, 92.9, 99.5, 103.5, 105.3, 107.5.
-Strongest SA signals - 92.1, 99.5, 101.9, 104.5, 105.3, and 107.5.
-Weakest SA signals - 89.1, 96.1, 97.3, 98.5, 100.3.
-SA signals I could not get - 88.3, 91.3, 92.5, 94.1, 106.7
-Austin stations I could pick up were 93.7, 94.7 and 103.5.
Keep in mind, my radio was not set on "DX"
It was set on "Local"
Thanks
Off the record: I am surprised how strong the KAMX 94.7 signal is, since the tower is in West Lake. Its blasting in like a local all the way down to Seguin. Pretty cool!
