KBKS Morning Show Out

Credit when credit is due, iHeart made some very wise moves in helping to build back up 106.1. While there are things that could still be done better over there, KJR-FM, KZOK, KJAQ, and KBKS are pretty strong assets in their portfolio now.

106.1

106.1 is now Hits 106.1. I follow them on social media and I am listening to them on the iHeart Radio App.

I'm listening online right now. At least the station doesn't sound like a placeholder anymore, but I'm still not impressed. The only reason this will do better is because of the morning show.

Anyone see the rest of the lineup?
"Alabama" (what, did the '80s country band come out of retirement?)
"English Evan"
"Raph" (sic)
"Zann" (sic)
"EJ"

Sounds like OOT voice tracking...

There's definitely some of that, though Zan is local. Alabama and English Evan are held over from the previous morning show. As for the station overall, the only reason it will do better is the ew morning show. After they're off the air, I only expect a few tenths of a point increase if that.

Well, to be fair, Alabama actually grew up in the South (has the accent and everything), English Evan actually grew up across the pond, and Raph is just shorthand for Raphael. All I know about Zann is her work in Dallas.
