BJordan, I've been a fan of BEPs since they did that song with Macy Gray called "Request + Line". Yeah, BEPs have been around since the late 1990s, but they weren't considered relevant to this conversation until 2003 when Fergie joined the group and they went more pop.
I remember "Request+Line" featuring Macy Gray from 2001 that was their last hip hop song. They went more pop after they dropped the "Elephunk" album in the summer of 2003.

Looks as if ET flopped big time on V103. It disappeared way faster than Ciara's "Gimme dat". I notice "super bass" by Nicki Minaj seems to "come and go", if that makes sense...
Exactly Katy Perry's ET doesn't belong on a urban station and neither does Adele. Power
106 in L.A. is getting it together though. IMHO it doesn't make sense to play Katy Perry in rotation with Keyshia Cole's Take Me Away, Big Sean's My Last and Chris Brown's Look At Me
Now
Yikes

. WVEE V-103 need to get their Shhh together. Pardon my french y'all. They daypart the station well. During the Urban AC esque programing nothing but R&B. After 6 Hip Hop & R&B and evening is their quiet storm which I love. I love their song selection during the slow jam show I.E. Kem's Love Calls, Jaheim's Anything, Jesse Powell's You, Joe's All The Things and Jon B.'s I Do(Whatcha Say Boo) Those are some beautiful songs.
BTW Katy Perry's ET has flopped big time on Power 106 in Los Angeles. That's a good thing because Power 106 represents hip hop not mainstream pop.
