No, not at all. It primarily appealed to Hispanics. The success in New York City was due to the huge second and third generation of Puerto Ricans there, followed by the general market and some Blacks. Remember, other than the Gibbs / Saturday Night Fever, most of the artists were Black or Hispanic or European (think Georgio Moroder, "the Father of Disco").

I'll agree with all this. I reluctantly accept Brooks & Dunn because there was a time when I didn't like them but they're at least better than what passes for country these days.
I grouped him and the people who were there to salute/accompany him at the event. They were all the cream of the country crop. Never said they all performed. Do I have to spell everything out? Sometimes your omniscience falls short. I'm not sure we even have a difference of opinion here, but somehow you've managed to create one.

I wonder if name changes like this one, and Gulf of America, are reversible with a democrat as the next president? My hope is for the next democrat president on the first day of office, to undo everything that's possible by executive order.
