Kennedy Center Changes

It's a shame the inevitable appeals will most likely render this ruling moot, though.

They'll just take a long time and cost more money. But the law is pretty simple and this was obviously illegal.

Just as putting a living person on currency. In both cases, they might try and get congress to change the law. But that's unlikely.

The president had a temper tantrum last night about the Kennedy Center. The funny thing was when his name was added, he said he didn't have anything to do with it. Now he's telling us that he did.

He claims it's political. It's not. The law says what the name is, and they can't change the name. The president's party controls congress, and he could force them to change the law. But I doubt they would do that. Especially going into an election period.

In any other period of our country's history, I would tend to agree. But nowadays this is absolutely something that would be escalated to the top of the priority list just for the soothing of one man's ego.
