There maybe others, but I know of 3 other Smooth Jazz stations in Northern California that seems to be doing well, KJZY in Santa Rosa, KRVR in Modesto and KSSJ in Sacramento.weav said:tripton99 said:In a related news item, WNUA-Chicago, a station programming similar to KKSF, just went Spanish today (Friday).
I've heard it said that "Smooth Jazz" / NAC formats have it hard in the PPM world because the P-1 listeners are least likely to want to carry those devices around. Similarly, the P-1's for dance music, but for different reasons.

I don't think any of those markets are PPM yet... some will probably not ever be. In diary-rating land they'll do fine.

Cue up Aerosmith's "Dream On"...
Can somebody call Las Vegas and get me the latest odds on Clear Channel firing Laurie Roberts from 98.5 K-Fox in San Jose, then re-hiring her (at San Francisco money) for 103.7 The Band?
