1. KLTO remains simulcasting KBBT.
2. KLTO becomes "Recuerdo" & KCOR returns as "Amor"
3. KLTO becomes Rock.
4. KLTO is sold to the highest bidder.
I vote for #1.

I won't laugh at you silentmajority as we were having a good discussion about this very topic on the Houston board. Moving Party from 104.9 to 93.3 is suicidal for the station. Moving The Beat to 97.7 would have the same effect. The difference is KBBT is number 1 in S.A. and KPTY was and still is an also ran in Houston. I love how Univision spins their decisions too. Party in Houston is now on a "stronger signal as our Christmas present to our listeners", or so Party DJ's will tell you. While it is true that Party is now on a 100kw rig as opposed to the 2700w stick they were on in downtown Houston, the station now originates from Port Arthur. Port Arthur? How is that beneficial to any listener west of Downtown? Thousands of listeners in the west and southwest sections of the city have now been abandoned as 93.3 is spotty at best west of the Loop. I don't buy it. While I suspect that KLTO will continue to simulcast KBBT for the short term, considering David E. just acknowledged that above, I wouldn't bet the farm on it lasting past a year or so. Keep a watch on the Houston boards, as well. I figure you'll see us talking about the newest Spanish language station at 93.3 before too long.silentmajority said:Okay, I'm inviting everyone to laugh at me in advance, but here's a thought. Although HIGHLY unlikely, perhaps Univision who has always cared more about spanish than English, will move the beat to 97.7 and use 98.5 for some other hidden weapon of mass radio destruction. I don't know the details, but I heard that something similar happened in Houston with 104.9 the party being moved to a 93.3 and being replaced with amor. Any thoughts?
