All you had to do was get your battery powered radio out. I did. I heard it all.
Hearing KFWB report that the DWP did not have a reason for the outage while across the hall at KNX they were reporting that they had an unverified report of it being a cut cable. That went out for 15 minutes or more on both stations at the same time.
Someone at KNX opened the door to the halls where the building alarm systme was drowning out everyone on-air until you heard the comment "You can't hear them on the air because the alarm, close the studio door".
Or one reporter at KNX taking a cell phone call on the air but only relaying what the person was saying on the other end (since they could not put them on the air). The call should have been taken off the air then the info. reported back.
Another reporter coming into the studio and saying "I thought we were off the air becasue you can't hear the station in the halls". At the top news station someone is saying this on the air?
UNPROFESSIONAL.
