e-dawg said:Would you rather have Vietnamese or Chinese format than Spanish format? Vietnamese and Chinese have high disposable income and are highly educated.

kenrayc said:Your right, I guess i was thinking of KUFX when they were on 94.5 before the frequency swap with 98.5. like I was mentioning in my last post with CC in Fresno all 6 FMs serve the same area(4 are on the same transmitter site) Tulare and Fresno Markets and found that loophole to keep one station by changing the COL on paper for KBOS to Tulare, which the 2 cities are 45 miles apart, much like San Francisco and San Jose, can't see why CC can't do the same with KUFX.

Kent said:KBOS, by the way, did not have a recent COL change. It has been licensed to Tulare for at least 35 years.
emprex said:In that case, 98.5 should go back to KOME new rock. CC dont need two classic rock stations serving the same market (103.7 The Band).
kenrayc said:CC could change KBAY 94.5 COL to Gilroy and be able to keep KUFX.
Kent said:[Clear Channel can't do the same unless Arbitron decides to make San Jose a separate market. While you can run maximizer and get San Jose specific information on how well your station does there, Arbitron actually considers it and San Francisco to be one market.
