KSKY 92.9FM?

92.9 Killed my Chances of expanding my AM to a FM Part 15 Operation. 99.9 Is OK. But Not as Clear as 92.9. Oh Well 1650 listeners will have to wait for Stereo. :-\

I hope and pray this gets nowhere....

Undoubtedly so do the other two dozen listeners to your niche format.

Well looking at the 8 to 9 mega churches that are withing 20 minutes of my house in Desoto, there are more that 24 people who listen to gospel music.

Probably - the members of those churches listen to 97.9, 104.5 and other secular stations instead of Christian stations by a margin of 100 to 1. That won't change because of that little translator. It is a heart issue - the pastors of those churches need to speak to the hearts of their members. And black or white, most everybody under 50 will prefer Contemporary or Christian rock (power FM plays a fair amount of Christian hip-hop and rap).

So then why are you against a station that LEGALLY did what it takes to get themselves heard after dusk. I personally don't like CCM or the formats of KLTY and 89.7, but I don't want them shut down since they have a legal right to be on the air.

No - the translator on 102.5 is not operating legally, because it prevents over the air reception of a full service FM station - KMAD. There are no signal strength limitations on the fully service station. The prevention of listening alone means that the 102.5 translator is not operating legally. I find a conflict of interest with a CHRISTIAN ministry doing something illegal, like operating a translator that prevents over the air reception of a full service station.
