Well looking at the 8 to 9 mega churches that are withing 20 minutes of my house in Desoto, there are more that 24 people who listen to gospel music.

Probably - the members of those churches listen to 97.9, 104.5 and other secular stations instead of Christian stations by a margin of 100 to 1. That won't change because of that little translator. It is a heart issue - the pastors of those churches need to speak to the hearts of their members. And black or white, most everybody under 50 will prefer Contemporary or Christian rock (power FM plays a fair amount of Christian hip-hop and rap).
