Absolutely! The format is highly listened to by the Mexican and Columbian Drug cartels driving their humvees and mixing it up with the federales in Juarez on the weekends.

Again: I will miss this station. From now on, when I want good Dallas radio, I guess I’ll just have to call “Jack.” Hopefully, if they’re smart, KZZA (106.7) will drop their Spanish language format, and get “Movin’.”

You’ll recognize cross over artists such as Shakira, Paulina Rubio, Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglisias. We believe this is a significant opportunity for our company and an extremely exciting new entertainment brand for our community!

I like to have Smooth JAZZ back!!! CBS is crazy in the head with this idea!!!! I need a GUN to my head!!!! Thank YOU!!!

salemjedi54 said:As much as I agree with you Dan, the truth is that the CONsultants killed Smooth Jazz. The programmers had the right idea with the format, but CONsultants came in and said to add R&B to the mix....WRONG!!!!!!!!
Granted Smooth Jazz skews older, then you should have hired some sales people who understand the format and could relate to the audience.
The problem? Like KLNO's problem of being number 1 25-54? Yeah, that's a real problem.dantheman said:Movin was better than Spanish S____t. I do not understand CBS going to Spanish programming. I hope they see the problems other Spanish station are having in the DFW market.
MikeShannon914 said:And I'm so happy to hear that Brian Purdez and Kurt Johngado have the intelligence and sensibilities and KEEN insight to program a Spanish station now. I had no idea they even understood the language!
