I'm looking for advice and input as to which of the following options to choose for delivery of my show.
Said options are Live365, Loudcaster, podcasting, and sharing recorded air checks of Part 15 radio. I know that the third and fourth give better audio quality. I also am operating under the presumption that strictly speaking, podcasting without paying royalties is a no-no from a legal standpoint. If that's not so, then I might go that route.
And I think that sharing air checks of an actual radio station is completely legal, or at least close enough to not worry me. It'd also be the most time-consuming option, but I have more free time than I know what to do with, so no problem there.
I'm familiar already with Live365 and how it works, and the quality of a 128k/stereo stream.
But I know next to nothing about Loudcaster and how good its sound quality is. They use a
standardized 32k AAC stream for delivery, right? With a flat rate for streaming and no caps on total listener hours?
I've got what is easily the best-sounding airchain I've ever put together, and high quality music. I just hate the thought of wasting all that by having tinny and artifact-filled audio in the final product.
Responses can be posted here, or send me a private message, either is good.
